It’s not unusual for grade school kids to be a little bit unsure about a new class, unfamiliar peers, new teachers, and maybe some doubt about their skills can make many kids anxious. Don’t be surprised if your otherwise outgoing child takes just a minute or two to fully integrate into the group. Our instructors will help your child feel a part of things.

While Aurora Kids is loads of fun, it’s a teaching environment. This means we have structured activities the class participates in as a group. We’ll help your child understand that structure & explain the skills as we go.

Please don’t go into the gym or try to “coach” through the windows. Part of growing up is getting used to teachers and following instructions.

Teachers will often tell you what skills were focused on and explain some of the days’ activities after class during announcements. You can always ask a Teacher questions after class or anyone at the front desk during class.
