Here’s what to expect during your pre-school gymnastics

Pre-school students often struggle with separation from parents. Remember that your child is entering a completely new experience: new classmates, new energetic teachers and a new bright and colorful world.

Don’t be surprised if your normal outgoing child clings to you for a minute or more when it’s time to start class. This is perfectly normal!

While Aurora Kids is loads of fun, it’s a teaching environment. This means we have structured activities the class participates in as a group. We’ll help your child understand that structure. It is normal for 3 year olds to wander away occasionally until they get used to the structure. Be patient with your child while they learn all the different aspects of class.

Please don’t go into the gym or try to “coach” through the windows. Part of growing up is getting used to teachers and following instructions.

Teachers will tell you what skills were focused on and explain some of the days’ activities after class during announcements. You can always ask a Teacher questions after class or anyone at the front desk during class.

Be sure to pick up a class schedule and other information about Aurora Kids at the front counter during your visit.
